4 Star Review by Risque Reviews' Melissa
Hurt Me Good by H. C. Brown seized my attention from the first page and did not let go until the very last word. I found myself really liking both Harper and Flame a lot. I also enjoyed the story line. The big bad Dom could not be a big bad Dom otherwise it would scare off the sub he wants.
The chemistry between the two main characters is off-the-charts hot and spicy. Harper is an ex-rocker and a best-selling author--both headstrong and incapable of listening to anything other than what he wants. I really liked that Harper knew he had flaws and knew what they were. Flame is a stripper who has trust issues is quick to judge, and incapable of making up his mind. I also really liked that Harper toned down what he wanted so as not to scare Flame. They are a good match in and out of the bedroom especially the more Flame starts to trust Harper.
I would love to read more about these two enthralling characters. It would be interesting just to see how they worked out.
I really enjoyed how secondary characters --Josh and Mike mix together so smoothly into the story. Unifying the story just right so it didn’t just focus around Flame and Harper, I’d really enjoy reading more about them.
And with that said should also tell you how much I enjoy this story!
